You’re my zoom-Friend
At some point during the lockdown, I got tired of taking pictures of the lights on the curtains and the porch of my house.
I felt the burning lack of communication, emotional conversation with people and a view of the world outside the apartment.
So I just started calling friends.
We haven't seen each other in months, and with some - even years.
Turns out, they’ve felt as isolated and lost as I did.
In a way, quarantine gave us the opportunity to get closer and finally find time for each other.
“This quarantine is the rhythm of life that I have dreamed of for the last few years, but I was afraid to admit it because of the dictates of social "norms" and ideas of success.”
Victoria, Munich, Germany
“Time spent in quarantine is like a pause to stop, exhale and finally listen to yourself.”
Aigerim, Astana, Kazakhstan
“Quarantine is a period when you try to prove the fact of your existence in society.”
Aidai, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
